Weekly Health Tip: Parchment Paper

Parchment Paper

Parchment paper is an item that should be in everyone’s kitchen. Unlike synthetic-based wax paper & aluminum foil (increases risk of developing Alzheimer’s) it’s safe to use, and serves the same anti-stick purpose. You can use it for baking cookies or granola, roasting vegetables or tomatoes and making no-bake desserts. Look for brands that are unbleached.

To keep things a bit more environmentally-friendly I also use my Silpat for roasting & baking from time to time.
