First Stop: Barbados

We are off to sunny Barbados tomorrow for a much-needed vacation (and yes it will be a true vacation – we’re bringing grandparents). We’re taking Jack to the resort where John and I were engaged, and got married on January 27th, 2010. It’s a really special place for us, and we’re so excited to share our favorite island with him.

I’ve been packing for a week – travelling with a baby is a little different. I’m bringing lots of Chia Squeeze tubes and organic dinners, but he’s able to eat most fruit, and loves boiled eggs so it should be pretty easy in the eating department. He’s sleeping in our room (I’ve packed ear plugs), so I’m not sure how the sleeping is going to go, but we’ll see!

I’m a little anxious to travel with a baby – there’s something so comforting about our routine, but John and I love to travel so we are just going to go with the flow, and I’m sure Jack will adapt. Barbados is the first stop on our travel plans for the winter – next up is Colombia in February and than Miami in April. Stay tuned for my adventures in travelling with a baby!

I’m dedicated to working closely with my clients to teach & motivate them to make healthy choices, discuss healthy living strategies and create customized nutrition programs that fit with their life.
